If I unplug the secondary display(HDMI) then the it switches to the other one and it works fine, but after re-plugging the HDMI cable it just drops the main display and only the secondary works.Tried to use both extended and duplication but it makes no difference. In Advanced display settings it says both of them are connected to Intel UHD graphics. In display settings I can see the main monitor is detected.I got a USB-C G5 docking station with an EliteBook 850 G7 from my company, I am trying it to make them work with my dual monitor setup.Main monitor is 1440p(with DP), second monitor is 1080p(with HDMI) only. When I start the the notebook with the docking station, only the second monitor is working, the other one is just black. I think we have all seen the phishing sites that try to fool you into thinking your PC is broken and end up taking your money or taking over your machine. Outright flaming, trashing, rants, slams or legal threats against the HP Inc/Hewlett Packard brands, or HP/Hewlett Packard or any other company is also prohibited. Bringing up old flames usually creates new ones. Also, bringing up old “flames,” as in old animosities which have since been resolved, will result in strict action against the member. The interpretation of whether an attack has occurred is entirely up to the moderators, so if you are not completely sure that you can express your opinion without it sounding like an attack, you’re best off just not doing it at all. You can express your opinions, but you must do so calmly, intelligently, and without purposeful intent to attack the other party. If you can’t express your opinion of someone else’s actions without being mean, childish, insulting or spiteful, keep it to yourself.
